And now for something completely different.....

Got a 401(k)? What a great experiment in legal robbery form our friends on Wall Street. You know the ones who helped you lose your house and jobs recently. So far nobody has done the perp walk and a lot of boomers are boned for retirement.
The excuse is well you were responsible for picking your investments, but the reality is what you were offered in the plan and the hidden fees precluded any gains. When a select few people can trade stocks in microseconds you haven't got a chance to compete. I guess we should just whack social security now just to twist the knife.

Bad week for blogging due to recent circumstances. I've been thinking about mortality, retirement, and how to approach it. I really don't really want to work till I "shuffle off" as they say. I have been trying to post ahead since starting this blog as thoughts occur in order to post something every day. I have a more long form post started, but don't have all my thoughts formulated yet.

Meanwhile on current USA politics.........

To an earlier post on the RNC convention in Cleveland. What could possibly go wrong?
Saw this performance in the Concert for George DVD. I really like this singer.

Living nearby I would say think twice before coming to Cleveland in July to protest the Republican National Convention. The city is already gearing up and the police tend to shoot first and ask questions later. Just ask the mother or sister of Tamir Rice.Article on cleveland.com

Speaking of which the 2016 election is the biggest clown circus I have ever experienced. I cant believe the level of stupidity and animosity being generated by the front runners. Were on a Hellbound Train

Heard a tune on an episode of Lucifer that I previously heard in a Charlies Angels movie. Haunting and it seems to be used to good effect in both situations.Video

I hear music do you? Certain situations recall music which plays in my head weather I want it too or not. For instance I would hear Cleopatra's Favorite Cat by the Spin Doctors when walking down the the street in Chicago on the way too the Athletic Club Association recently. Do you live your life in musical interludes? I'm not complaining as it seems to make current events in this country more palatable. Video
